Olusola (Sola) Adeyemi is a partner in the Employment team, advising on the employment and incentive aspects of corporate transactions. His practice covers management incentive plans, senior executive arrangements, TUPE and workforce restructuring following acquisitions.
Sola is frequently instructed by sponsors and management teams on buyouts, where he works with tax and corporate colleagues to design sweet equity, leaver provisions and restrictive covenants that hold up in both the UK and the US.
He plays tenor saxophone in a London big band and is a regular at the city's jazz venues.
Selected experience: - Advised the management team of a UK software business on their incentive arrangements in a secondary buyout. - Advised a US buyer on the integration of 1,200 employees following its acquisition of a UK services group. - Advised a sponsor on leaver disputes arising from a portfolio company management change.
