Rebecca Stein is counsel in the Data Protection and Cyber team in New York. She advises on privacy, cybersecurity and data governance, with a particular focus on due diligence and integration for acquisitions of data-rich businesses.
Rebecca helps deal teams find and price data risk before signing: from cross-border transfer mechanisms and breach history to the regulatory exposure of health and consumer data. She then supports buyers through post-closing remediation.
A Columbia Law School graduate, Rebecca has run the New York City Marathon five times.
